Mysteo production policy is internationally oriented and we are seeking co productions opportunities on international projects. We are present in the main world cinema events (as Rotterdam, Berlin, Cannes and Toronto).

Roots

Mysteo is the natural following of the already long adventure of its two founders. Friends since high school, Julien Monestiez and Denis Volte share the same passion for cinema. They meet again few years later, when Julien starts a consultant carrier as an engineer and Denis studies musicology at the University. Julien wants to produce films and Denis to compose the soundtrack, they start to make self financed movies by doing everything, learning their jobs during many years.

In 2006, they founded Mysteo, a motion picture company and coproduced Saving Mom and Dad written and directed by Kartik Singh, which gets a huge success all around the world and has been sold to Arte.

In 2009, Mysteo has produced Chronique de l'Afrique sauvage written and directed by Issam Mathlouti. The film has got the support of CNC, Alsace region and has been presold to Arte. Mysteo is still working with Kartik Singh, in financial process for his next short film Un deux trois quatre and developing two feature films.
